The Intimate Journey is in Progress
Well my friends, the making of the Intimate Journey CD project is in full effect. The whole process has been fun and exciting. I am really overwhelmed by the support and encouragement that I have received from all of you. I am so appreciative to those who you who have already made a donation toward the project.
As an artist in the 21st Century, I am working under a completely different set of rules than those of the artists that I grew up admiring. I do not have the luxury of having a large record company to handle production, promotion, and publicity for me. I have to rely on you, my fans, friends and family to support me in my musical journey. I am thrilled to say that you are coming through in a huge way! The good thing about this is I get to reach out and communicate with you in a very personal and intimate way. It is truly an Intimate Journey! Thank you so much for your support. I know that these are challenging financial times for everybody. I do not take the fact that you have placed a value on my music and have chosen to make an exchange lightly. I will search deep within myself to give you the best that my soul and spirit has to offer. You deserve the best.
As far as the music is concerned I have 8 songs that will have a place on the project. I have reached out to my radio promoter and we have already targeted a couple of songs for radio singles. I will have a couple of the Michael C. Lewis slow jams for you mellow out on as well as a classic 70’s soul remake. I am continuing to write new material and a few of my talented friends have begun to submit material for me to listen to as well. I can’t wait to share it all with you.
